"Learning to fly can increase self-confidence, spark imagination, or provide much-needed escape from the stress of daily living.  Hangar flying sessions, where talk of engines and airports blends with ruminations of perfect landings and spectacular sunsets, yield lasting friendships.  The students we train today may be saving lives tomorrow as an air ambulance pilot.  Students may also realize dreams to fight fires from the cockpits of slurry bombers, deliver medical supplies and doctors to remote areas, or carry world leaders to critical meetings.  They may also go on to transport passengers as an airline captain, defend our nation as a fighter pilot, command a space shuttle, or be the first person to set foot on another planet." -E.B. Jeppesen
"Man must rise above the earth -- to the top of the atmosphere and beyond -- for only thus will he fully understand the world in which he lives."

-Socrates
"When once you have tasted flight, you will forever walk the earth with your eyes turned skyward, for there you have been, and there you will always long to return.

-Leonardo Da Vinci

About the Aerospace Explorer Club

"Reach for the stars and let your dreams take flight"

If you have ever considered learning to fly, this is the perfect opportunity develop your interest and meet other like-minded students. Throughout the year we introduce students to the full range of Aerospace studies, provide an opportunity to fly both our training aircraft and FAA-certified simultor, and learn more about the aviation and  exciting career opportunities available to youth today.  Guest speakers from the profession make regular appearances.

As students explore aircraft systems, weather, aerodynamics, and maneuvers, space exploration and more, they are not only preparing to become pilots, but a foundation is being created of knowledge about science and technology -- the keys to our future. Club members will gain in-depth knowledge of aviation under the highly skilled guidance of our FAA-certified Instructors.

All instruction is credited toward completion of a Private Pilot License or Sport Pilot Certificate should the students decide to continue toward these ratings in the future.   If you find that flying is for you, The Worcester Regional Flight Academy would be happy to speak with you further about arranging lessons and meeting the requirements to become a pilot!  As a club member, discounted flight instruction will be made available to you (see below)!
