CFI / Commerical Pilot Hiring
The Worcester Regional Flight Academy is seeking to employ a part time CFI. We are seeking business-like, well-spoken, and customer service oriented instructors. Instructing experience is strongly preferred; a strong work ethic and commitment to The Worcester Regional Flight Academy's style of flight training is required. We prefer CFIs to have their instrument instructor certificate before being hired. We are also willing to entertain applications for a commerical pilot to handle a portion of our scenic flights.
Our part-time instructors play a major role in our training business. They also have an opportunity to conduct scenic and introductory flights. We also offer a number of youth programs throughout the year and, while not required, opportunities for introduction flights and ground training courses for these programs may be available. We offer attractive hourly rates and a great instructional environment to qualified CFIs with other jobs, who can be available 2-3 weekday mornings or afternoons, and at least one full weekend day. There will also be opportunities to conduct night flight training New CFIs move right into Private, Commercial and Instrument instruction, along with aircraft checkouts, BFRs, IPCs, etc.
Candidates with CFI & CFII
We are quite selective in our interview and hiring process and require our CFIs to adhere to high standards of ethics, honesty, and professionalism. We look for outgoing personalities, and expect an instructor to serve as an educator and a customer service professional, as well as a very knowledgeable, safety-conscious pilot. Our CFIs adhere to dress and grooming standards, and project an image reflect The Worcester Regional Flight Academy’s values at all times.
