George Charles Allen is Founding Director of The Worcester Regional Flight Academy and Vice President / CFO of Allen Aviation LLC, a teacher, published author, classical pianist and independent scholar.  He holds degrees from Clark University and the University of Edinburgh and has been living and breathing aviation since he was a toddler, experiencing his first flight in a Cessna 150 at Robertson Airport (4B8), Connecticut, at the age of three.  He began logging lessons when he was six.

The Worcester Regional Airport (KORH) has been George's second home since 1995 when, at age twelve, he joined the Civil Air Patrol as a cadet, eventually attaining the second highest achievement: the Ira C. Eaker Award with a promotion to Cadet Lieutenant Colonel. 

He is a vocal supporter of both commercial and general aviation interests at Worcester and is active within the community promoting the use of Worcester Airport by working closely with area business associations and educational institutions at both the vocational and collegiate level.

Currently he is collaborating with educational leaders in Worcester and spearheading the development of aerospace education and pilot training programs for students enrolled in vocational schools and colleges.

Mr. Allen is Founder and President of the Worcester Aerospace Education Foundation, Inc., a member of the Board of Directors for the Pakachoag Music School of Greater Worcester and the National Coalition of Independent Scholars.  He appears regularly on local TV and radio stations.
