Want to own an aircraft but cannot afford one outright?

Do you own an airplane, but would rather it generate income (asset) than sit in a hangar or tiedown all year (liability)?

Would you like to reduce the amount paid for aircraft rental and be eligible for special tax incentives to offset income in other areas?

Consider a leaseback.  The term "leaseback" is industry jargon and something of a misnomer.  In a lease arrangement The Worcester Regional Flight Academy serves in the role of "asset management," or property management firm.  A lease provides the opportunity for an individual to own an aircraft for business, pleasure or training at a reduced cost by making the aircraft available for use in their Rental Fleet.

Our leasebacks are designed to benefit all those involved whilst helping to alleviate the owner's expenses with the rental fee paid by the pilots.  A typical leaseback is arranged so that the owner receives the majority of the gross rental revenue per month, while the Academy retains a nominal administrative fee.  We also offer a discounted rate on flight instruction for any dual instruction received in the owner's aircraft.

With a lease, the aircraft is owned by the individual while the Academy takes care of all the management hassles.  We promote your aircraft through our school, find and introduce qualified customers, assure their competency, manage financial transactions, and assure your aircraft is kept clean and tidy on a daily basis to minimize wear-and-tear and keep the aircraft looking attractive.

The Worcester Regional Flight Academy has an established customer base and, moreover, commands a market in the second largest city in New England.  We therefore have the ability to reach a wide demographic of students who will be looking to rent your aircraft!

Certainly there is much more to learn in order to make an informed decision.  If you are interested and would like to learn more information about leasing an aircraft to the Academy, call George at 774.287.4192 or email him by using the contact link.

"A leaseback helps give students and renters a way to keep flying without a big investment, and it keeps the spark and joy of flying alive."   -Dennis Lewis
